RESPONSIBLY AWARE is an initiative started by John Richardson and Stop Soldier Suicide. 

John is a veteran and a firearm owner himself. He leads the research and evaluation work at Stop Soldier Suicide and its ROGER wellness program.

This initiative is to help veterans have more awareness and communication about their firearms in the home.

If kids are in the home, or if someone is struggling with their mental health, we encourage safe storage practices and the use of devices that allow you and someone you trust to be alerted when firearms are accessed.
